LA Times Festival of Books Featuring Ten Taiwanese Literary Books 
2023_LA Times Festival of Books
The largest Los Angeles Times Festival of Books in the United States will kick off at the University of Southern California on April 22 and 23, 2023. The Taiwan Academy of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles will host Booth No. 149 under the theme of “Literature as a Reflection and Dialogue." We select 10 Taiwanese literary books for exhibition. All these works have been translated into English and are of exceptional quality.

Kevin Chen, a recipient of both the Taiwan Literature Award and Golden Tripod Awards in Taiwan, is thrilled to be joining the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books panelists in the section "Fiction: The Struggle to Live" at 12 p.m. on April 22, 2023, at the Albert and Dana Broccoli Theatre. Additionally, both Kevin Chen and Crystal Lee, the authors of the children’s book "Kai the Dancing Butterfly," will be present at booth 149 to meet with book enthusiasts. Fiction Panel Discussion at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books
Kevin Chen, Taiwan’s renowned best-selling author, has been invited to participate as a panelist in the "Fiction: The Struggle to Live" section of the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books. The event is scheduled for 12 p.m. on April 22, 2023, and will take place at the Albert and Dana Broccoli Theatre, located at the University of Southern California. Kevin Chen has also been invited by the Taiwan Academy of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles to launch a literature lecture series from April 21 to April 25. We welcome American readers to join us at the festival and these literary events.

B.Dance's “The Cell” Mexico Premiere at El Aleph
The Cell, a short dance film produced by B.DANCE’s choreographer and artistic director Po Cheng Tsai and filmmaker Meng Hsueh Ho, will premiere in “El Aleph: Festival of Art and Science” at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).
