The exhibition “Total Story: Su Hui-Yu’s Immersive Worlds” at MAMBO, Bogota, Columbia |
 |
| From October 23, 2025 to February 15, 2026, MAMBO (Bogota, Columbia) proudly presents The Total Story – Su Hui-Yu, the first solo exhibition in the Americas by Taiwanese artist Su Hui-Yu. This multidisciplinary show traverses video installation, time-based art, and performance, weaving together Su’s probing investigations into memory, identity, and technology. With his signature “re-shooting” practice, he reworks mass media, cult cinema, and archival imagery—often deploying tools such as deepfake—to resurrect suppressed or forgotten narratives and provoke new structures of meaning. Throughout the exhibition, Su deploys a queer lens to destabilize patriarchal and colonial orders, crafting speculative universes where time collapses and power is reimagined. Noteworthily, this is also the first time MAMBO holds Taiwanese artist’s solo show after signing an MOU with Taiwan Academy in Los Angeles .
