Film Screening: Kuei-mei, a Woman
Kuei-mei a woman
Presented as part of the Taiwan Film and Audiovisual Institute’s Taiwan Cinema Toolkit program, Kuei-mei, a Woman (《我這樣過了一生》,1985), a landmark of Taiwan New Wave Cinema, will be screened at the Asian Pacific Resource Center, Rosemead Library.

Spanning three decades, the film follows one woman’s journey through displacement, family, and survival in postwar Taiwan. The screening is presented by the Asian Pacific Resource Center in partnership with Kuo Hwa Theater, Taiwan Film and Audiovisual Institute, and Taiwan Cinema Toolkit. In Mandarin with English subtitles.
