  • Date:2018-01-10

The LA Art Show, Los Angeles’ largest international art fair, is returning for its 23rd annual showcase on January 10 – 14, 2018 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. One of the largest and most prestigious art fairs on the west coast of the United States, the 23rd annual LA Art Show will feature over 100 galleries from 18 different countries this year. Hailing from Taiwan, Fun Year Art Gallery is returning to LA Art Show for its second year, exhibiting unique works from three Taiwanese artists, Tsai Cheng-I, Liao Pen-Shen and Tai Ming-Te.

Based in Taichung City, Taiwan, Fun Year Art Gallery had begun its active venture into the vast global art market in recent years, not only partnering with several well-known galleries internationally, but also participating in multiple large format art fairs abroad, fueled by its passion and dedication to bringing the marvel of Taiwanese art to the global art scene. Visitors to the LA Art Show this year will be able to find Fun Year at booth 6037, with its exhibition titled “Introspection – Taiwan Expression”, featuring works from Tsai Cheng-I, Liao Pen-Shen and Tai Ming-Te, three veteran artists from Taiwan. Each with bold and unique visual styles informed by contemporary sensibilities unique to Taiwan, these three artists’ works focus much on connecting emotionally with the audience through tangible modes of expression. Pieces featured in this exhibit were also curated with a theme of deep respect and fondness of the unique grassroots movements and cultures of Taiwan, capturing the zeitgeist of Taiwanese artistic expressions through relatable depictions relating to societal issues and the Taiwanese people’s deep care and bond with its environment.

The LA Art Show creates one of the largest international art fairs in the United States providing an exciting, immersive, insider art experience to sponsors, their select guests and VIP clients. The show attracts an elite roster of national and international galleries, acclaimed artists, highly regarded curators, architects, design professionals, along with discerning collectors. This innovative, exceptional cultural environment attracts executives and board members of Southern California businesses, state, county, and municipal government representatives, as well as leaders of the region’s cultural institutions. Attendees are trend setters, influencers and alpha consumers, who seek and demand the newest and the best in all areas of their lives—art, design, food, technology and travel being specific passion points.
